While the ladies of 10” MARIA have performed under that name for quite some time, the recent addition of guitarist RC has revitalized the band on a fantastic scale. Most of the material from tonight’s set is new, written in the last few inspired months since the cohesion of the new lineup. Ballsy and beautiful, Fawn Li provides the voice for the quartet with the bravado of any man, and makes her stand for the strong woman. Combining elements of modern rock with a classic rock tone and just a touch of 80’s sleaze, 10” Maria make their case that anything a man can do a woman can do better, even rock and roll.
